You can now set pricing on method options by specific markets, variants and item conditions.

RFID scanning on Zebra devices using Supercycle scanner

Warehouse and fulfilment teams can now scan RFID-tagged items directly through the Supercycle scanner app on Zebra devices.

Filter rentals by item overlap conflict, then bulk re-allocate items

See overlapping rentals, with filters for whether alternative items are available or not. Then resolve in bulk using 'Re-allocate item' from reservations table actions.

Rental intent tokens will be retired

Deposits can be added to calendar methods

You can now use add deposits to calendar methods, tracking which customers you hold deposits for and managing deposit returns.

Filters for ID verification

You can now filter customers by ID verification status.

Tooltips on methods app block

You can now show tooltips and help text to Methods app block labels to give your customers more information. These are set up in the languages in settings.

Pay now link on failed charge email

Failed charge emails now include a summary of the charge and a link to pay any oustanding balance.

New rental Shopify Flow triggers

You can now trigger a Shopify Flow with Rental created, Rental updated, and Rental cancelled.

Add rentals to a draft order

You can now add new rentals to a draft order in Shopify order by clicking 'Add rentals' from the 'More actions' drop down. You can enable from beta features. Note this also changes the current 'Create order' workflow from Reservations.

You can now start subscriptions from Shopify POS using the POS extensions for Supercycle.

Pause subscription when return is requested

You can now access beta analytics directly from the Supercycle navigation to view key circular metrics about your store.

Improved overlap visibility for rentals

To prevent confusion, we no longer show overlaps with items that have already been returned. This will help merchants manage their rental inventory more effectively.

Total count on tables

You can now see the total rows on tables. Useful when filtering to find the total.

Support chat added to the Supercycle admin

Change payment methods on a rental

You can now edit the recurring price of your customers' active memberships and subscriptions from their Supercycle customer page.

Introducing Charges, replacing Invoices

Charges work similarly to invoice lines but offer more flexibility. You can combine multiple charges into a single payment using a draft order, making the payment process smoother and more efficient.

Storefront API is now in beta

We've added a Storefront API for merchants that want to create more custom frontend experiences. Available now in beta upon request.

Improved syncing with fulfilments on Shopify orders

We've created a more reliable sync, ensuring when a Shopify order is fulfilled it consistently updates fulfilled_at on a rental in Supercycle.

Change product or variant for an item

You can now change the product or variant an item is associated with. This is particularly useful if you are using variants for conditions such as 'Like New' and 'Well Loved' and need to change the item condition over time.

Support for unlimited quantity when placing an order with a rental

Our cart validation now checks availability against quantity. This means a customer can select an unlimited quantity of items to rent, and we can now validate availability during checkout.

Filter by 'not tagged with'

You can now filter reservations and invoices tables by 'not tagged with'.

Details on a subscription now show within a rental

We've added a clearer inline subscription UI that displays the current status of subscriptions within a rental.

'Create rental order' now brings Shopify variant into the draft order

When you create a rental from Reservations using the 'Create rental order' button, the Shopify variant is now brought through to the draft order. This ensures the correct variant SKU is communicated to our 3PL or operations team. Draft order now also support cart validations, ensuring against the creation of overlapping rentals.

Updates to subprocessors

Intercom and AppSignal removed as subprocessors. Attio, Fillout and Relay added as subprocessors.

Add a location to an item

You can now specify an inventory location for each item, supporting inventory across multiple warehouses and/or physical stores.

Save custom data against items and rentals

You can now created custom fields for items and rentals to store specific information to your business. Examples include purchase price, consignee or manufacturer serial number.

Save custom views

You can now save custom views on reservations, returns, products, inventory and customers by adding filters and then saving the filtered view on tables.

Filter reservations by Shopify order ID

You can now filter reservations by a specific Shopify order number by going to 'Add filter' and then selecting 'Order ID' from the reservations table.

Serial numbers must now be unique

Serial numbers on an item could previously share the same number as another item. Serials from now MUST be unique.

Sentry added to subprocessors

Sentry has been added as a subprocessor.

Filter tables by tags

You can now filter reservations, inventory and invoices by their tags.

New Supercycle metafields on Shopify products

Supercycle now syncs boolean metafields to Shopify products for "imported into Supercycle" and each rental method, to ease management of rental products from the Shopify products page. You can also use these metafields to create automatic collections for rental methods. The change only applies to newly imported and edited products. Metafields for existing products will be backfilled in future.

Changes to item page

We've reworked the item page in the Supercycle admin to prioritise rentals. The serial number has been moved to the right hand side and displays a code-128 barcode if a serial is present.

Payment methods now display correctly on subscriptions

Previously, subscriptions paid for via Shop Pay or PayPal would not display their payment method on the subscription page in the Supercycle admin. All payment methods now display correctly.

Updated payment failure descriptions

We've updated descriptions for subscription payment failures to include more detail, helping you to follow up with customers.

Pause and unpause memberships

In addition to cancelling memberships, you can now pause and re-activate them from a customer's membership page in the Supercycle Admin. On re-activation, billing will continue according to the membership's billing schedule.

Search customers by more fields

You can now search the customers table by email and full name.

Plain added to subprocessors

Plain(.com) has been added as a subprocessor.

Changes to packing slip layout

The design of packing slips has been reworked to emphasise the order tags and shipping method.
