Channels
Online, in store, in customer accounts or on a storefront you build yourself: Supercycle works across every Shopify channel so customers can rent, subscribe and resell from anywhere.
Add the Methods block to your product page to offer rental, subscription, membership and resale, styled through the Shopify theme editor.
Let customers filter products by their preferred rental dates. Show only what's available in the window they need, reducing friction and support requests.
Display membership plans on any page and let customers enroll straight from the storefront, no custom development.
Shopify customer accounts extended with rentals: customers view active rentals, start returns and manage memberships in the account they already have.
Attach terms records to any method option and the block adds an Accept terms row for each, with the title linking to your policy. Add to cart stays off until every row is ticked, and each acceptance is recorded on the cycle.
When a method has nothing available, the card offers a one-tap sign-up instead of a dead end. Customers hear from you the moment it's back, and you see who's waiting for what in the admin.
Start rentals or sell pre-loved items from Shopify POS with real-time inventory checks, so online and in-store stock never overbook.
Tap Verify ID on the order to show a QR code and link. The customer completes the identity check on their own phone, and POS updates the moment it clears.
Hand the POS device over to sign rental agreements on screen, or show a QR code to sign on their own phone.
Let customers book online and collect in store, with separate logistics buffers for delivery and pickup.
Query product availability, day-by-day timelines and rental intent from your own frontend. Requests go through the Shopify app proxy on your domain, so no API key ever reaches the browser.
Build your own date picker or booking widget on the availability timeline, then attach the intent attributes to the cart. Supercycle still creates the cycle and takes payment at checkout.
All Supercycle methods are compatible with the Shopify Online Store and Shopify POS. Markets are supported with more functionality on the way, and B2B is on the roadmap.
Supercycle uses native Shopify app blocks that you can configure through the theme editor, no code required. Add the Methods block to a product page to display rental and resale options, or the Membership plans block to any page to show available plans.
Yes. Supercycle's customer account blocks are added to Shopify customer accounts. Customers can view active rentals, initiate returns, manage memberships and update payment methods, all within the native Shopify account experience.
Shopify POS supports all four rental methods (calendar, subscription, membership and resale) with real-time inventory sync. POS is still in beta, so some methods have limits: you can add items to a customer's existing membership on POS but not create a new one. Staff can also process resale and capture contract signatures on POS.
Yes, through the Storefront API. Your frontend queries availability, availability timelines and rental intent via the Shopify app proxy on your own domain, then attaches the returned attributes to the cart so Supercycle creates the cycle at checkout. The API is still under development and available to select merchants on request, and we work with your team directly during implementation.
