About the QR code labels.
The lowest-cost way to serialize a catalog: print a serialized QR from Supercycle, stick it on the item, and scan it with the phone camera in the Scanner app: no chip, no reader, no RFID to buy. Each label’s QR maps to a serialized item, so its condition, cycle count and location are one scan away.
QR carries far more data than a linear barcode and is forgiving of angle and distance, which makes it ideal for teams scanning with phones rather than dedicated hardware.
