The RFD40 RFID sled clips onto a phone you supply. Reading happens in the Supercycle Scanner app.
Overview
The RFD40 turns the phone in your pocket into a bulk RFID reader. Clip your handset into the mount, pair over Bluetooth, and the Supercycle Scanner app picks up every read: no cables, no laptop, no separate terminal to learn.
Because UHF RFID doesn’t need line of sight, you can sweep a rail, tote or returns bin and identify hundreds of items in one pass. Each read resolves to a serialized item in Supercycle, so status, location and condition updates happen as fast as you can walk the floor.
Use it for:
Swappable batteries keep a sled running across a full shift, and the same unit works docked at a bench when you’re not moving.
Long-range bulk reads from the devices your team already carries.
Sew-in threads and washable laundry tags: a tag that stays with the item for life.
Printed labels you scan with a phone or barcode reader: serialize stock without RFID.
Tell us about your products and volumes, and we'll recommend the right scanners and tags.
